They were using springs bought abroad but were found to be costly and replaced it with manufacturing as per same drawings springs by an Indian vendor. However, the
springs failed early and caused large damage to the feeder.
The same spring design was verified using MDO spring module and it was found that the springs failed because of surging. Suitable suggestion was given to them to prevent
such failure.
The vibrating feeder division implemented MDO solution and stopped numerous production losses due to spring failures. This enhanced productivity of system.
