The Institution of Engineers (India), organised 26th Indian Engineering Congress
between 15th – 18th December 2011 at Bangalore Palace Grounds. Its platform embraces
all engineering sectors and its allied services. This souvenir was distributed to
all participating delegates and the partnering institutions of IEI thus reaching
more than 6000 Engineering professionals and Industries in India and abroad. 26th

Industry Academic Interaction

Event Overview
As a part of Academic-Industry interaction program, MDO team interacted with Mechanical
Engineering Students and Faculty. Students got more insight on industry expectations
from them in Machine Design domain and hands on training of Machine Design Online
software which is been used as a design and validation tool across various industries.

Event Overview
Software Training Program as a part of post-sale activity was conducted at COEP on 12th Sept, 2015. About 120 Mechanical engineering students attended this activity to
get more insight about Machine Design Online software. MDO team interacted with students and conducted hands on training session in their CAD/CAM lab. After
successful registration on MDO portal, students were practicing for design procedure of various components available in the software.

Event Overview
Training session on Machine Design Online (MDO) Portal was conducted for B.Tech-
Mechanical Engineering students. Faculty interacted with students through MDO portal with
respect to various features like practice Assignments, Online Exam, asnswering students'
query through Forum. Students found MDO portal was a very important tool while completing
project work.

FEAST Software Pvt. Ltd. participated at 12th FICCI Higher Education Summit 2016
and showcased MDO portal to more than 1000 national and international delegates
including Indian and foreign University Presidents, Vice Chancellors and Deans.
Participation from 60 plus countries such as EU, UK, Canada, USA, Africa, Middle
East, SAARC, CIS etc.

Dr. P. Vasudevan inaugurated the exhibition and addressed the students about the
importance of the machine design and E-Learning. The mechanical engineering students
had built models of various mechanisms and explaining their working. Prof. Vasudevan
encouraged the students.

Machine Design Online Presentation

The MDO model is demonstrated to tune alongwith LMS (Learning Management System)
and how this could be used by teachers and students to bridge the gap between academic
and industry requirements. The MDO model was very much appreciated by the design
faculty members.
